Camel is a horse...[edit]
If the dates are correct for the quote in this article, then this man did not invent the aphorism "a camel is a horse designed by committee", which this article implies.
An earlier quote indicates the expression was in use much earlier:
1952, Proceedings Regular Meeting, Ohio Valley Transportation Advisory Board, Pacific Northwest Advisory Board, pg. 24:
