Anglocentrism[edit]

The quotes on this page are overwhelmingly from Anglophones, and mainly represent perspectives from the Anglosphere, i.e., from one portion of one side of the Cold War. To be more comprehensive, it needs quotes to represent the perspectives from non-Anglophone Europe, from the Second World, and from the Third World and the Non-Aligned movement. As part of this, there should also be more content relating to decolonization as it related to the larger Cold War. I'm going to compile quotes from this site's pages on major political figures like De Gaulle, Mao, Castro, Sukarno, etc., but ideally the page would also include quotes from non-anglophone sources other than politicans (such as the press, artists, etc.). As I have not previously contributed to Wikiquote, I am wondering about the best way to organize the page (should it grow long enough to warrant such). Would it be logical to have separate sections for each of the "three worlds," or for primary and secondary quotes? Naturally, such distinctions can be blurry.
