Changing [Speaking to God] with [Speaking to God/Lucifer]

[edit]

The issue: I know that the quote "I know I'm not one of your favorites, and I'm not welcomed in your house, but I could use a little attention, please" is vastly accepted to be interpreted as if Constantine was speaking to God, but couldn't it be that he was talking to Lucifer?

Here is my case: 1) He is not one of Lucifer's favorite (and I think Christians say that God doesn't have favorites); 2) All the devil half-bread that he departed won't welcome him when/if he reaches hell; 3) He is asking for attention just before he tries to suicide, as if saying "I'm going to Hell, 'Lucy', why don't you personally come to take me?".

I know that Constantine was looking up when he said these words, and I don't have any source from the director or the script writer to sustain this idea, but I think it makes more sense to summon the Devil with this speech, before attempting suicide, than asking God for help.

My proposal: to use [Speaking to God/Lucifer] instead of only [Speaking to God]. Anyone up to discuss this?
