Talk:Cowboy Bebop

When I first watched the Cowboy Bebop movie, Old Man Bull's quote really, really moved me. It's one thing to read it here on a webpage. Follow this link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=o3iv1ebRJQg Ideally, you should watch the whole movie so you can see it in context, but the actual quote itself is at 62:54.

[Uh...source for this quote?] "Spike: The music box is broken, or is it? It starts to play and a haunting tune fills the air. I awake suddenly from my dream, there is no music box and yet there it is, a tiny one, nestled in my hand and I awake from the dream again as if I were peeling an onion. It’s a dream no matter how far I go; I can never reach reality, trapped in an endless nightmare." Supposedly from the gateway shuffle, but I just watched it specifically looking for these lines and couldn't find it. I looked in the subtitles too, in the english translation, everywhere; I couldn't find it! Does anyone have a source for it?

It's at the end of the episode Gateway Shuffle, on the preview for Ballad of Fallen Angels (Carluverdrm2004 23:42, 28 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]

RESPONSE: to "Talk: Cowboy Bebop:

Its not from any actual eposoide, it's from the preview or next session look ahead after the Gateway Shuffle eposoide, showing the upcoming Ballad of Fallen Angels session that Spike narrates saying that quote above to the song memory that plays at the beginning of the series. If you have the Perfect Sessions DVD collection it has every preview.

Well hoped that answered your question

I don't wanna mess up the page, because I don't know much about wiki, so can someone add this for me? I'd like to add something about the line at the bottom of the screen at the end of the last episode. "You're gonna carry that weight." That line always stuck with me, and I did carry the weight. I'd like it to be added.

Spelling Errors. Theres several errors for instance the line in episode 5 isn't "lapsed insanity" which makes no sense its "lapse in sanity" theres quite a few more that jumped out at me, and if i get the time tonight I'll correct em myself.--74.131.91.57 04:37, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

About[edit]

There doesn't seem to be any reaction or critical interpretation section. If I may make a suggestion? SF author w:Peter Watts: “I really like this series. Why can’t we make stuff like this here?”[1] --Gwern 20:52, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quotation limit[edit]

As part of the Wikiquote:Copyright Cleanup Project to avoid violation of copyright laws, this article has been trimmed to its limit of no more than five quotes per episode (one hour long). If you would like to add another quote to the page, you must first remove one already there. Please see Wikiquote:Limits on quotations for more information. Thank you.
