Did D.H. Lawrence write this?[edit]

The following quotation has been spreading around the Internet, attributed to D.H. Lawrence, but it's not (yet) on the Wikiquote page. Does anyone know if it's correctly attributed, and/or can anyone give a verifiable citation of its source? Embram (talk) 05:13, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves"

Addendum: Never mind, I've found it and added it to the page. I've bolded it since it's gone viral and is now among the most quoted of his poems.Embram (talk) 19:28, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
