National Socialism was egalitarian and horribly modern[edit]

Peter Hitchens is notable - his quote is notable and relevant. --2001:8003:412B:6300:9449:BCFA:13DB:81B3 11:03, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing in that recent screed is widely quoted or quoteworthy. As a plain instance of Godwin's law, the quotation actually says nothing about egalitarianism itself. ~ Ningauble (talk) 12:42, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
A valid point - I should have included the full Christopher Hitchens quote, which is this: National Socialism was egalitarian and horribly modern. It sided with children against parents and (often) teachers. It built super-highways, gigantic holiday camps, space rockets, and jet engines. It planned to create mass car ownership—though tanks, in the end, came first. In military matters it was open to the newest ideas and encouraged innovation and initiative. It poured resources into the movie industry, developed television, and sponsored a type of Godless modern architecture which can still be seen in the Berlin Olympic Stadium and the remnants of the Nuremberg parade grounds. Its leaders embraced sexual freedom. If you would put the full quote on this page I'd appreciate it. --1.152.108.237 00:10, 30 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Still doesn't say nothing about egalitarism. Rupert Loup 01:22, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
the first sentence say National Socialism was egalitarian. The rest of the paragraph elaborates --2001:8003:4085:8100:71DF:F2BF:7413:91E7 18:04, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
What elaborates? Nothing there talks about "the idea that all humans are equal in fundamental worth or moral status". Rupert Loup 23:46, 27 November 2019 (UTC)
He's not talking about your definition of it --2001:8003:4085:8100:50BC:5096:9A18:978A 09:57, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That's THE mainstream definition of egalitarism according the sources in Wikipedia. Poor quality quotes that are not widely cited don't met WQ:Q. Rupert Loup 10:49, 28 November 2019 (UTC)
Peter Hitchens is WQ:Q, as is National Socialism. --2001:8003:4085:8100:B89D:2B18:52A2:7D68 23:13, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This page is for egalitarism, if the quote is no about egalitarism it will deleted. Ningauble can you give a closer to the issue? Rupert Loup 03:25, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
the page is for egalitarianism, which is why the quote belongs here --2001:8003:4085:8100:543B:7850:9D62:69AB 03:40, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
