The article has the quote as: Mon centre cède, impossible de me mouvoir, situation excellente, j'attaque." Translation: "My centre is giving way, I cannot move, situation excellent, I shall attack."-- Spoken during the Second Battle of the Marne, July 1918

I thought it went more like one of these:

@ www.giga-usa.com: My right has been rolled up. My left has been driven back. My center has been smashed. I have ordered an advance from all directions. - in a letter to Marshal Joffre during the Battle of the Marne

@ www.brainyquote.com : My center is giving way, my right is in retreat; situation excellent. I shall attack.

@ en.thinkexist.com: My centre is giving way, my right is in retreat; situation excellent. I am attacking.

@ www.creativequotations.com: My center is giving way, my right is in retreat; situation excellent. I shall attack.

I don't have any authoritative references, so I won't make changes to the article for now.

According to Tucker, Spencer A. (2005). World War I: A Student Encyclopedia. Santa Barbara, Calif: ABC-CLIO. ISBN 1-85109-879-8. , he claimed never to have sent that. --Slashme 12:37, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
