Wondering what's going on here?

Unsource quotes were removed from w:Fiddle and pasted here. Page was marked SPOD. I had no objection and userfied the material. I then deleted the RD having no desire to be associated with the discredited unsourced material. Then, as a good deed for the WQ day, I searched up an interesting quote and posted it to the page. I then read that there is such a thing as a PCV so I blanked the page pending myself reading and understanding the PCV policy. If I can re-contribute that material while remaining consistent with WQ policy I will do so. I would in the meantime appreciate not being subjected to any panicky blocks. There is no lack of Good Faith in these edits. Please review my WP and WB user pages and contributions if you have any doubts. GeoBardRap 21:24, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what you mean by "PCV". (WP:PCV doesn't seem relevant.) ~ Ningauble 14:44, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New situation[edit]

I restored the prod template to avoid confusion.

How do I properly source: We consider that the man who can fiddle all through one of those Virginia reels without losing his grip, may be depended upon in any kind of emergency. - Letter to Virginia City Territorial Enterprise, January 1863 - Mark Twain? GeoBardRap

I improved the citation with some secondary sources. I removed the {{prod}} because this is now sourced as verifiably as is possible for 19th century newspaper ephemera. ~ Ningauble 14:44, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
