Göring = Goering

in German, the vowel ö is pronounced as if it were the english dipthong oe, and sounds as if it were the eu in the French word neuf, and resembles the English vowel e in the word her.

Common name?

"Meyer" (or "Meier") was a common name among the Jews of Germany." Well... I hate to spoil the fun, but "Meyer" and "Meier" are common names among Germans (I think, "Meier", "Schmidt" and "Müller" and their variations are the most widespread names in Germany), no German would identify the name as jewish. de Havilland Mosquito

There is an excellent quote on the wikipdeia page for the de Havilland Mosquito should it not be included on this page? if so, where?

"In 1940 I could at least fly as far as Glasgow in most of my aircraft, but not now! It makes me furious when I see the Mosquito. I turn green and yellow with envy. Thanks for the effort, but I think there are still more phony quotes in the article. If it doesn't have a direct, primary source, assume that it is false. Although the case of Goering quotes, may not as bad as the ones of Adolf Hitler. --105.10.193.59 20:15, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
