I created this quote page. I've added the "checkcopyright" flag because I'm unclear as to how much of an article it's OK to quote.

That's very conscientious of you. Given that the material is apparently from a 3-page article, but includes 16 quotes, several of which are paragraphs, I'm afraid this is almost certainly a copyvio. One rule of thumb is that, for any work of some substance (i.e., not a short poem or song), 5% is pushing it, and 10% is serious trouble. The point of collecting pithy quotes is not to include every witty thing a person says in a piece, but no more than a few (and maybe only one or two) of the most clever, funny, or otherwise memorable statements. I hope this helps. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 04:02, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the information! Yes, the article is three pages, but they're very full pages, with long lines set in tiny fonts, zine-style. Becase the article is set in multiple fonts, it's hard to get an accurate word count, but I've gone through and commented out a lot of the quotes, particularly the longer ones, and I think the percentage is now in a reasonable range.
