Add topicCleanup
[edit]This article needs a good cleanup. There are duplicated quotes, tons of grammar mistakes, and too much non-catchphrase rubbish in the Catchphrase section. Ray McCooney is refferred to as "Scottish Guy", the unnamed American man is known as "Mike", and Viv is credited as "Viv Seaton". Where the Hull does the "seaton" come from? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.1.248.48 (talk • contribs) 17:02, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, began to tidy up a little bit. Going through with the official book containing the scripts for series one it is clear that most of the quotes are inaccurate. Some of the quotes have now been sorted by episode but there's a lot more work to do. Those that have been sorted have also been corrected based on the official scripts. - Thanks for starting on this work, Jonohill. Might I ask you to do two things recommended in Wikiquote:Templates/TV shows while you're making your changes?
- Please use numbers rather than names when citing season numbers in headings, as it's easier to inspect for correct order.
- Please use the episode names for each episode. The current practice is to include the episode number in a "[s.nn]" season format. For instance, "Episode One" should be "Domino Toppling [1.01]". (We're still thrashing out whether the title itself should be bare, italicized, or quoted, so as the editor on the spot, you have some leeway. The short argument is: italicized is in the current template; quotes are the cross-project means to format episode titles; and bare text is more appropriate for headings. Take your pick.)

[edit]Should be 5 per episode. Due to the vast number of unsourced quotes, this is a bit 'iffy'. There have been 4 seasons, with 36 episodes in total, meaning there should be AT MOST 5x36 =180 quotes. It seems like there are much more than that, so I'm going to trim the article. Catchphrases
[edit]Aren't part of the official template, so should they be kept? I'm going to hide them with a comment for now. Soph (talk) 23:12, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
Series 2-4
[edit]For some reason, there are no quotes for 2,3 and 4. Maybe because people just got bored and shoved them in the unknown episode bit. If you know what episode they're from, please help to categorise.
- Series 1: 8 episodes
- Series 2: 6
- Series 3: 6 episodes
- Series 4 (Little Britain USA): 6 episodes
