Copyright concern[edit]

I flagged this article for copyright review because it doesn't merely include a fair-use portion of its two currently quote articles, it includes a major portion of them. (The "excerpt" from ""David Brooks and the DLC: Best Friends Forever?" is most of the article, in fact.) I'm not sure what portion of the second would be a good selection, or if perhaps a few individual lines might be better, but I'd suggest trimming the first down to:

  • Bush is our fault. He's our fault because too many of us found it easier to hate him than find a way to love each other. If we work on the second thing a little harder, we won't need to rely on the cynics in the DLC to come up with the right "formula" the next time around. Because happiness and hope have a way of selling themselves.

or possibly even a more concise statement. The key is to boil down these long tracts into the most pithy expression of the idea. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 06:52, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
