Add topicCleanup tag
[edit]I added the tag for the following reasons: Need to remove the quote marks and the quotes should not be divided up by topic - instead they should be sorted in chronological order, perhaps divided by year if there are enough quotes per year to do so. ~ UDScott 19:04, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have reinstated the cleanup tag in this article because the two issues above have not been corrected: superfluous quote marks are deprecated, and quotations should be arranged chronologically rather than using subject headings. Also, the blind links should be replaced with explicit citations. ~ Ningauble (talk) 15:33, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- Not to "pile on" or anything, but the majority of those "blind links" are no longer valid. I checked the first fifteen; of those, only two returned with usable information. Maybe the percentage will improve if an exhaustive search is done, but I wouldn't count on it. I will investigate further when I have the time to devote to this effort. Quotes About Him?
[edit]As his prominence in national politics is expanding there are lots of people speaking out about him. I Think these would be relevant for wikiqoute but not within those peoples section. Example in a recent speech on education President Bush said about him "The mayor is a no-nonsense guy who understands that if you set a goal, you expect to see results in achieving that goal. He knows how to ask tough questions and he is pretty good at moving aside bureaucracy that will inhibit the people". How can we add a section like this?

[edit]Abortion
[edit]- On Rudy Giuliani's evolving opinion on Roe v. Wade: I think if you look at people, whether in business or government, who haven't had any moral compass, who've just changed to say whatever they thought the popular thing was, in the end they're losers.
Homeland Security
[edit]- "We all must recognize that homeland security funds should be allocated by threat and no other reason."
