Talk:New England Skeptical Society

[edit]This article is currently organized by quotes from specific speakers, with only a few even identifying the podcast from which they are taken. We need to make the difference between sourced (specific works and issues cited, preferably with segment names and/or time indications) and unsourced quotes. My initial thinking is that, if these quotes are all coming from a podcast series, the sourced material should be organized as an audio creative work with issues, displayed either as dialog or attributing the quotee in a sub-bullet subject line.
It's hard to say just how we should handle this, as the article currently seems to stretch beyond our existing content styles:
- It's an article about an organization, but the quotes aren't about the organization, so it isn't a theme article.
- It isn't a people article because it groups a number of people who themselves may not be wiki-notable.
- It uses podcasts as a source, when we have no established guidelines on these (like editorial oversight for them to be considered wiki-reliable).
Basically, I think we need to explore whether or not, and how, an article like this fits into Wikiquote. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 08:56, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Notability of this organization/podcast seems marginal as well. See Wikipedia talk. Maybe that's why no quotes about. ~ Ningauble 20:41, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
