Ordination of women article on Wikiquotes[edit]

I take "The ordination of women" phrase to refer broadly to quotes that directly refer to the ordination or appointment of women to formal ministerial or priestly positions in any religious group including the Christian church. It relates to the Ordination of women article on Wikipedia. I have been adding quotes about the ordination of women in a particular denomination in the church but this page is open to quotes about the ordination of women in any religious group. This might also help in preventing this page from being too culturally specific. I have started dividing the quotes into subheadings of religions then by denomination or subgroup within the religion. If in future other editors add quotes from different religions or denominations I suggest they follow the same format and place the quotes in chronological order, to show changes in attitudes over time or even at the same time period in some cases. I am also providing quotes for and against the ordination of women to follow balance and neutrality principles. EJPascal (talk) 03:50, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
