Aryan Barbarian?

[edit]

Can someone please provide a source in "Wings in the Night" for the "Aryan barbarian" quote? I have never encountered that quote in reading the work and I am wondering if there are multiple versions or if this is some kind of invention by white supremacist fans of Howard. 99.126.242.5 00:17, 17 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

You can find that here: [1] I'd like to note that these are marvelous quotes but they do not nearly reveal the depth of Howard's writing. He had a wonderful eye for color and motion and he could entrance the reader by a description of the weather. I may add some quotes to this. I re-read some of Howard's writing now and then. 08:38, 26 May 2015 (UTC) Eric

  • I adore these books. Howard has a gritty, vibrant style—broadsword writing that cuts its way to the heart, with heroes who are truly larger than life. I heartily recommend them to anyone who loves fantasy.

  • Found the short story collection, Pigeons from Hell by Robert E. Howard the creator of Conan the Barbarian when I was thirteen, or fourteen. It was the first dark fantasy and heroic fantasy I’d ever read. In that moment I knew not only did I want to be a writer, but this is what I wanted to write.
