The 1958 Version of the Blob it also was Filmed in Black and White , for a TV version , i saw it advertise on a NBC station in Norfolk Virginia in 1968 as a Saturday night movie, we had a Color TV , and the Steve McQueen Blob the B&W was on TV , i never knew there was a color version, until years later, then i saw the color version on some cable syfy channel or TNT, 1 new years eve movie marathon, in some ways i thought the Black and White version was scarier , it was a pretty good movie over all both ways .
