Add topicThis page has been flagged for a review of its copyright status, as it may contain too many quotes from a copyrighted source. This article falls within a proposed limits on quotations policy.
The subject of this article is a television show, and as a result, the proposal would set a limitation of one quote for less than 30 minutes, two quotes for 30 minute shows, and five quotes for 60 minute shows (see our TV policy for shows of other lengths). If you would like to add another quote to the page, you should consider whether to remove one that is already there in order to keep within the bounds of fair use of copyright material. |
This page needs more quotes.(Dennys 17:07, 14 April 2009 (UTC))
Seriously this page needs some more season 3 quotes.(Dennys 17:56, 15 May 2009 (UTC))
Someone needs to help clean this page up and remove all those worthless red Links.(Dennys 19:53, 26 May 2009 (UTC))
No need for trimming due to it has episode quotes.(Jackerson 03:40, 8 September 2009 (UTC))
- There is a two-quote maximum per half-hour episode of a television program. See Wikiquote:Limits on quotations. - InvisibleSun 00:54, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
But what about the one hour long episodes known as Transform and Roll out, Megatron Rising, A Bridge Too Close, Transwarped, Human Error and Endgame? How many quotes on a one hour long episode?(StarWarsFanBoy 21:08, 2 October 2009 (UTC))
- As I've said elsewhere and as it says at Wikiquote:Limits on quotations#Television, we can have five quotes for the hour-long episodes. EVula // talk // ☯ // 23:57, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Characters and episodes
[edit]Should we quote by episode or we quote by character? If anyone wants to trim most of the episodes then I would like to see them try.(StarWarsFanBoy 22:37, 9 October 2009 (UTC))
- We quote by episode, not by character. EVula // talk // ☯ // 19:21, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Which policy says quote only by Episode? Limit Of Quotes? Manuel of Style? Blocking Policy?(StarWarsFanBoy 23:11, 10 October 2009 (UTC))
- WQ:LOQ is the relevant page. It doesn't specify that we should only do episodes instead of characters, but it becomes a logistical nightmare otherwise. EVula // talk // ☯ // 01:27, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Episode Transform and Roll out
[edit]Just to let everyone know episode Transform and Roll out is actually 1 hour and 30 minutes. So how many quotes are allowed for an episode that lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes?(StarWarsFanBoy 01:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC))
- I'd assume about the same number as a film of that length. Raisin56 07:09, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
