Questioning an editorial revision

Kiam's remark on leaving the law courts in London, "I liked the verdict so much I bought the jury," is perhaps not so well known as a similarly amusing remark of his, but as I watched it on the news at the time (and subsequently took note of it myself), it is, perhaps, deserving to be just as memorable as his more famous quote (in a similar vein), if not more so.
