Egyptian[edit]

Anyone think the Egyptian soul bit is a bit too long and involved to be included here? I haven't read the book it's from but jeez it seems like we have most of a chapter here.24.3.229.31

Last Words : The Final Journals of William Burroughs[edit]

Hello,
I'm working on Burroughs' page on the french wikiquote and I would like to find original citations from Last Words : The Final Journals of William Burroughs (1997). If anyone owns this book please leave me a message,
Bye.
P.S. – Sorry if this is not the right place to post this kind of request. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MyXiLo (talkcontribs) 11:11, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

This is certainly a reasonable place for this request. I don't have the 1997 edition, but I can get a 2000 edition at my library. Let me know if you'd like me to do this. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 12:36, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It would be great if you can get it. It's not an heavy work (6 quotes, maybe a little more) so it won't take too long. Thanks a lot. MyXiLo 13:15, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I should have it within a week. (It's coming from a remote branch.) Let me know what you're looking for. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 13:23, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You can find the french quotes on my page. I've given you the days from the journal, and you'll also find the pages from my french translation(actually it won't really help). Do you speak french? If you're not I'll make some summaries or anything that would help. Thanks again. MyXiLo 13:38, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have not answered what you've asked me : I'm looking for the original quotes from the translated ones I have. MyXiLo 13:51, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ce n'est pas une problème — je parle français, un peu. I should have no difficulty finding the quotes you list, even in a different edition. I'll let you know. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 18:45, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. MyXiLo 19:37, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Psychotic variations[edit]

Seen a couple variations of this floating around attributed to him:

  • A psychotic is just a guy who's found out what's going on
  • A psychotic is just a guy who finally figured out what the hell was going on

Any idea as to whether fake or real? 64.231.171.12 05:29, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
