which is a pretty early contributing source for the "We'll not soon see the likes of him again" sentiment of funeral orations (and for critics' praise of great performances). If i were bolder, i might have started a new Theme (or subcategory under Themes) for, i guess, "Greatness" and/or "Likeness"; there are a multitude of later variations that may be worth collecting. (I've thought of the genre most vividly as some TV-series cop's elegy at another cop's wake -- at least until the last minutes of tonite's last episode of the 3rd season of Game of Thrones.)
