The Circle of Driving [1.1][edit]
- [Intro; Adam Goldberg videotapes Erica Goldberg while the latter is ironing her hair]
- Erica Goldberg: Adam, what the hell?! I'm gonna crimp your face! Mom!
- Barry Goldberg: Liar-- you're a liar, Simon! You are a liar! [sees Adam recording him] Stop videotaping!
- Beverly Goldberg: [nonchalantly walking in on Barry while he's showering] What would you like for breakfast, sweetheart?
- Barry Goldberg: Privacy!
Daddy Daughter Day [1.2][edit]
- [Beverly lovingly stares at Adam as the latter wakes up]
- Adam: [Gasps] Ah! Oh, Mom, you gotta stop watching me sleep.
- Beverly: Well, if you'd let me stare at you during the daytime, we wouldn't have to do this little dance.
Mini Murray [1.3][edit]
- Adult Adam Goldberg: [voiceover] Desperate times call for desperate measures.
- Adam: Mom? I have a tummyache.
- Beverly: Oh, sweetie. Do you need to make?
- Adam: No! But... can I sleep here tonight?
- Beverly: Yeah, sure.
- Adult Adam: I had given in. For one night, my Mom had gotten the snuggles she so desperately craved.
- Beverly: Adam's never forgiving me, but you can still patch things up with Barry. Just hire him back.
The Ring [1.5][edit]
- Adam [having dropped a wrench on his foot]: [loud groaning]
- Dana Caldwell: Are you okay?
- Adam: Mm-hm.
- Dana: Are you crying?
- Adam: No. [whimpering] Good talking.
You Opened the Door [1.14][edit]
- Adult Adam: [voiceover] Unfortunately, I had two left feet. [Young Adam falls on his knees] I often found walking a hard enough challenge.
- Dana: You okay?
- Adam: Yeah. Been working out a lot. My quads locked up on me. That ever happened to you?
- Dana: No.
- Adam: Das coo' Das coo'.
