The quote "Time is made and lost, but never found" was created by William George Kennedy in 1966 as the result of failed request for a date. He considered the promise of a date with the young lady when she "found time" resulted in the observation that we can make time for something, we can waste, and we can lose time, but finding time would never happens. Saying you will do something when you find time means the something isn't important enough to make time for and so will never be done. However, on the bright side, there is a possibility you can find a "round tuit" [1]. To actually do something, you must make time for it.
