Just added a Japanese quote from Kill Bill「旅の途上で、神がただ…神が立ちはだかれば、神をも切れるであろう」which is a reference from 1981's 魔界転生 (Samurai Reincarnation) where Muramasa says 「旅の途上で、神が立ちはだかれば、神をも切れるであろう」in a very similar scene. The phrase is also a reference to a Linji Yixuan's koan: 「逢佛殺佛」which means "If you meet the Buddha, kill him".
