Introduction to the Request for the Maltese Wikiquote Version

I feel it is time to vote on a new project for the benefit of all Maltese users - The Maltese Wikiquote. As you can see from the current state of the Maltese Wikipedia - www.mt.wikipedia.org, users are increasingly active and the articles in the Wikipedia are getting more and more various. This shows the potential of the Maltese people, who now, I feel, deserve this new initiative.

Wikiquotes, being a whole library of quotations and sources, is a most required source. It sheds a light on intellectuals' views on life and all its aspects, the sciences, the arts, and other subjects. It allows you to form a criticism, and to compare and contrast different people with different views. It is the most humane project of the Wikimedia foundation.

And now, I am proposing that you kindly vote in favour of the Maltese version of this project. We promise to work hard, and begin expansion immediately, for the sake of our fellow Maltese citizens and the whole Wikimedia Community.
