I've never contributed to Wikiqotes before -- in fact, to be frank, I didn't even give a thought to whether something like Wikiquotes even existed;\

However, it just happened that I happened to hear Benazir Bhutto's son speak briefly in a broadcast television video clip, one sentence seemed extraordinary. I didn't see it. Actually, I was in another room as the television was blaring, and the young man's words grabbed my attention unexpectedly.

I heard only this: "My mother always said, ' Democracy is the best revenge. ' "

When I sought to add these few words to the Wikipedia article on the assassinated Pakistani leader, the text of that article was temporarily locked. Then -- almost inadvertently, I happened to notice the icon for Wikiquotes near the bottom of the page ... and the link led me here where I could offer my modest contribution.

Perhaps I may return to re-visit this project in the future if I again happen to read or hear a phrase or a sentence which strikes me as being somehow compelling. --Ooperhoofd 17:56, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
