Scream is an American horror franchise created by Kevin Williamson and Wes Craven. Starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, the film series has grossed over US$600 million in worldwide box-office receipts and consists, to date, of four motion pictures. A television adaptation of the film series was released by MTV on June 30, 2015.

  • Scream - a 1996 film about group of teens being stalked by a psychopathic killer.  The film revitalized the slasher film genre by using a tongue-in-cheek approach that successfully combined straightforward scares with dialog that satirized slasher film conventions.
  • Scream 2 - a 1997 film, set two years after the first series of murders, in which a new psychopath dons the Ghostface costume and a new string of killings begins.
  • Scream 3 - a 2000 film in which Sidney and her friends visit the Hollywood set of Stab 3, the third film based on the Woodsboro murders, while a new Ghostface begins to terrorize them once again.
  • Scream 4 - a 2011 film, set ten years after the last film, in which Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.
  • Scream - a 2022 film in which a new killer has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town's deadly past.
  • Scream VI - a 2023 film in which a new Ghostface killer who targets the surviving members of the "Woodsboro legacy attacks" in New York City.

  • Scream - (2015-2019) is an American horror television series adaptation of the popular horror movie franchise, airing on MTV, centering on a group of teenagers being stalked by a killer after a certain video becomes viral and leads to problems that will open up the troubled past of the town of Lakewood.
