In my restless dreams, I see that town... Silent Hill.
Monsters? They look like monsters to you?
The fear of the blood tends to create fear for the flesh.
It doesn't matter if you're smart, dumb, ugly, pretty... it's all the same once yer dead... and a corpse can't laugh. From now on, if anyone makes fun of me... I'll kill 'em. Just like that.
What you call ‘faith’ is nothing more than a child crying out for love. That’s why you’re all alone.
Five days ago... that's when I first had the nightmare. I haven't been able to get out of my room since then.
You drive stick?

Silent Hill is a horror-survival video game series, centred around the dark and mysterious fictional town of Silent Hill. Each game follows a character who is somehow connected to Silent Hill (Heather), or searching for someone or something located within the town (Harry, James).

Opening: The fear of the blood tends to create fear for the flesh.
Mary: In my restless dreams, I see that town... Silent Hill. You promised you'd take me there again some day... but you never did. Well, I'm alone there now, in our special place... waiting for you.

Eddie: “You fat, disgusting piece of shit! You make me sick! Fat-ass, yer nothin' but a waste of skin! You're so ugly, even your mama don't love you!" Well maybe he was right. Maybe I am nothing but a fat disgusting piece of shit. But ya know what? It doesn't matter if you're smart, dumb, ugly, pretty... it's all the same once yer dead... and a corpse can't laugh. From now on, if anyone makes fun of me... I'll kill 'em. Just like that.

Eddie: Do you know what it does to you, James? When you're hated, picked on, spit on, just cause of the way you look? After you've been laughed at your whole friggin' life?

Angela: No ! Don't pity me ! I'm not worth it... Or maybe... you think you can save me. Will you love me ? Take care of me ? Heal all my pain ? Hmph... That's what I thought.
Woman: A group of pagans, blinded by earthly desires, spit in the very face of God. They tried to use the seal of Metatron to prevent God's awakening. But God drove the unbelievers away and threw them into the Abyss. But due to their wickedness, God was unable to be born properly. And so she has slumbered ever since, in the womb of the Holy Mother. Until the time of the Awakening...

Vincent: I know about the pleasures of this world. And I want to find my happiness while I'm still here. You hated your father, didn't you? I saw the way he hit you, kicked you, and made you cry. The memory of his cruelty is forever burned into my mind.

Vincent: What you call ‘faith’ is nothing more than a child crying out for love. That's why you're all alone.

Vincent: Monsters? They look like monsters to you?

Henry Townshend: [considering his room] Five days ago... that's when I first had the nightmare. I haven't been able to get out of my room since then. The phone doesn't work... the TV doesn't work... I can't even get anybody to hear me when I yell... My whole world has suddenly turned insane. My door's chained up, the windows are sealed shut... And on top of that, someone chained the door from the inside. How am I going to get out of here?

Walter Sullivan: Henry... You're it... the last of the 21 Sacraments... The "Final Sign"... The "Receiver of Wisdom".

Walter Sullivan: [regarding the shabby doll] I got this from Miss Galvin a long, long time ago... She was younger than me back then... She looked so happy holding her mother's hand... Here, I'll give it to you...
[In the Joke ending, Travis stares up at the moon]
Travis Grady: The lonely moon... You've always been there for me, haven't you?
[a UFO descends from the sky and an alien and Mira the dog debark]
Mira the Dog: Ruff! Ruff!
Friendly Alien': Greetings, Travis!
Travis Grady: You seen my truck? I have to find my truck.
Mira the Dog: [to the alien] Ruff, ruff!
Friendly Alien: Your truck is on our planet. Come with us.
Travis Grady: Can I drive?
Friendly Alien: You drive stick?
[Travis, the alien and Mira board the UFO and it flies away]

[On a CB radio, late at night]
Travis Grady: Who'd I just pass there? That you, Good Buddy?
Good Buddy: Treetop tall and wall-to-wall. Travis, you messed up sonofabitch. What you doing on my road?
Travis Grady: Late on a gig, bud. I'm taking the shortcut past Silent Hill. Stopping for coffee as soon as I hit Brahms. I'm beat.
Good Buddy: Bad dreams still keeping you awake? I told you man, a girl or two would go a long way. Sleep like a baby with a chick in your cab.
Travis Grady: Guess I just don't meet the right girls, Bud.
Good Buddy: Maybe if you weren't always blabbering about
[radio static]
Travis Grady: Hey chill. You don't see me bringing up your issues.
Good Buddy: No need. My old lady keeps me fully informed of my failings. The girl keeps notes.
Travis Grady: You mean she hasn't left you yet?
Good Buddy: Any day now. See you 'round, Travis. Take it easy.
Travis Grady: 10-4. Catch you later, Buddy.
Elle Holloway: The town seems empty. All the stores are closed or boarded up. What's going on?
Judge Holloway: It's complicated, Alex. A lot of things have happened since you left.

Alex Shepherd: I noticed a banner out front that said something about an anniversary.
Judge Holloway: Yes, the town's 150 year anniversary.
Alex Shepherd: But wasn't that celebration, like, years ago? I thought I remembered being here for it.
Judge Holloway: You're right. Things tend to stay in one place around here. I guess it's time we took that down, huh?

Alex Shepherd: You've got a lot of clock parts in this place. There a reason?
Curtis Ackers: Yeah, there's a reason. For fixing clocks! Haven't you noticed that every single clock in this town has stopped at exactly 2:06?
Alex Shepherd: No, I hadn't.
Curtis Ackers: Well, take a look around, son.
Alex Shepherd: Why do you think that is?
Curtis Ackers: Hell if I know. I just try to fix 'em. But it's no use. They won't start running again. It's like something's not letting us move on.
J.P. Sater: We're the ones who decide if we can live with what we've done.
