14 Carrot Rabbit is a 1952 American animated cartoon short in the Looney Tunes series featuring Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam (here as Chillicothe Sam), directed by Friz Freleng and first released on March 15, 1952. The title is a play on "14 karat", as in a purity level for gold. In the short, Bugs goes a little crazy whenever he's standing close to gold, and the trait intrigues claim-jumping Klondike miner Chillicothe (Yosemite) Sam.

Directed by I. Freleng. Produced by Edward Selzer. (uncredited) Story by Warren Foster.

Dialogue[edit]

Bugs Bunny: [as Sam digs for gold] Maybe I should help. After all, we're partners.
Yosemite Sam: [stops digging] Partners? Our partnership has dissolved. This is all mine! Now beat it! [throws rocks at Bugs]
Bugs Bunny: Well, of all the double-crossing... [sees that Sam is close to making a hole through the cliff] Gee, I couldn't do that to the little guy. Hey, Sam!
Yosemite Sam: [throws a rock at him, but, misses] SHUT UP!
[Gives up with a shrug, Bugs munches on the carrot while Yosemite Sam continues digging, until he makes a hole and falls into the abyss below]
