Patrick Smith (politician)

Patrick Smith (17 July 1901 – 18 March 1982) was an Irish Fianna Fail politician who served in a number of cabinets under Éamon de Valera and Seán Lemass. He is notable for being the longest serving member of Dáil Éireann, the lower-house of the national parliament of Ireland.
