- The cool thing about being famous is traveling. I have always wanted to travel across seas, like to Canada and stuff.
- Spears is often ridiculed for this quote, people thinking she said this in the United States. It was in fact not said in the United States, but in Germany.
- That is as uncredible as the original claim because you assume she said it in Germany. But when and where would she have said so? This is nothing but rumor-mongering. 2A02:8388:1601:E000:BE5F:F4FF:FECD:7CB2 18:28, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

- Does anyone know a credible source for the following: "I am for the death penalty. Who commits terrible acts must get a fitting punishment. That way he learns the lesson for the next time."? It's attributed to her many times on the internets, but nothing trustworthy, AFAICS. -- Thanks, 194.246.123.103 02:11, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

- "Et la peine de mort ?
- Honnêtement. Quelqu'un qui a commis des atrocités mérite une punition à la hauteur de ses actes. Il retiendra ainsi la leçon pour la fois suivante (sic)."
- not sure if it's some gonzo interview though, so I won't add it to the quotes 84.57.72.254 23:38, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
- This supposed statement is very widely reported in books and magazines, though I can find no trace of it's origin, true or made up. Does anyone know? "I've never really wanted to go to Japan. Simply because I don't like eating fish. And I know that's very popular out there in Africa." -- 146.21.169.236 10:44, 13 March 2019 (UTC)
