One quote without any direct context moved here

Checking this new page I stumbled upon the next quote, which I decided to move here out of precaution:

• It is better for all the world if, instead of waiting to execute degenerate offspring for crime or to let them starve for their imbecility, society can prevent those who are manifestly unfit from continuing their kind. ... Three generations of imbeciles are enough.

Presenting such a quote without any context, or any reference why it is important to list this quote here, is very questionable. I think this could be very hurtful for many people to read this like this. -- Mdd (talk) 11:53, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

"Three generations of imbeciles are enough" is obviously a famous quote, cited all over the internet and in books. But I agree an expanded caption would be useful. How about "Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., expressing then-popular eugenicist views in Buck v. Bell, 274 U.S. 200 (1927)"? Ficaia (talk) 12:04, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

Resolved: Thanks @Ficaia: for explaining. As non-American/English resident I didn't get this right away, and thanks for your further edits here. The image is a nice tough.
