It is an authentic quote from Basho, his Oinokobumi, 1709 (posthumous, ed. by Kawai Otokuni (ja:河合乙州). In original (ja), it reads 風雅におけるもの、造化にしたがひて四時を友とす。However I don't put it back to the article page for now, because it is unknown who translated it into English. --Aphaia (talk) 15:57, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
