[edit]@HouseOfChange Globalresearch.ca. is associated with Chossudovsky and is also a notable website, I think that's enough to be added here. Reliability is a criteria for Wikipedia not Wikiquote, where is the Wikiquote policy saying that we should remove every single source that is not acceptable per w:WP:RSP? - @Awedmote: Global Research is "notable" for hosting disinformation, which is why the Wiki project does not use it as a source, as already pointed out by @Philip Cross: when he removed the contested material. Furthermore, none of the "quotes" proposed here are short notable/quotable quotes, such as Wikiquote is supposed to host. Instead, they are long-winded expressions by MC of his debunked conspiracy theories about 9/11. They should not be re-added. HouseOfChange (talk) 09:58, 29 May 2023 (UTC)
- Per WQ:PG, "The policies of Wikiquote's sister project, Wikipedia, usually apply equally well to Wikiquote. In addition, most of them are more mature and hence more polished than Wikiquote's policies, which are still in the process of being developed. Where not specified in Wikiquote, use Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines and linked articles." The consensus that GR is unacceptable here does not require that there be "Wikiquote policy saying that we should remove every single source that is not acceptable per w:WP:RSP" HouseOfChange (talk) 10:06, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

- Awedmote, also see Wikiquote:Citing sources which states: "Providing sources for edits is mandated by Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Verifiability, which are policy. What this means is that any material that is challenged and has no source may be removed by any editor. See those pages and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources for more information."
