Tweets as Quotes?

Omar Abdullah is an active twitter user. Does tweets count as quotes here? Are twitter links enough references? Please clarify - Vatsan34 (talk) 14:28, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

Tweets can count as quotes here, but they do need to have some quotability. For example, they should have been noticed be others, preferable represented in third party sources. -- Mdd (talk) 20:31, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
