Talk:Spider-Man: No Way Home

This article falls within a proposed limits on quotations policy.

The subject of this article is a film, and as a result, the proposal would set a limitation of five quotes per hour (about one quote every 12 minutes).

If you would like to add another quote to the page, you should consider whether to remove one that is already there in order to keep within the bounds of fair use of copyright material.
For reference, the length of this work is: 148 min.

No more additions?[edit]

I feel we're at the point where we can apply the 'if you add a quote take one out' rule. I don't think we need to add anything else to the page. Giftheck (talk) 09:18, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Quote limits[edit]

From the WQ:LOQ: Five quotes maximum per hour. Spider-Man: No Way Home has a 148-minute run time -- 2 1/2 hours. That comes to 12-13 quotes for a movie of this length.

Now yes, I and several others, we went way overboard adding quote after quote, so a culling was necessary. I agree with that wholeheartedly. But, one party decided to pare the page down to six quotes, which was ridiculous. And, some of the better quotes were taken out completely.

Now I've increased the quotes here to 13, which is a reasonable number. As for single character quotes, there was too much push/pull on that, so I simply took the best and scattered them throughout the main body of quotes. If anyone wants to make a change, they should replace one quote with another and let the readership/editors decide, which is also reasonable. Any objections should be brought here, where matters can be discussed and resolved respectfully and peacefully. :)
