Why so many references to wikipedia?[edit]

I guess it is OK to link to the English Wikipedia(ENWP) when there is no existing page on Wikiquote(WQ). But this page sends readers off to Wikipedia (without telling the this) even when pages do exist on WQ.

I sometimes feel that the purpose of WQ is to advertise ENWP and nothing else. Anyone else? Ottawahitech (talk) 17:08, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
