Iconography
[edit]Although most Unitarian Universalists are non-judgmental (if not passive) about religious iconography used in other faiths, they generally are apprehensive about using them to represent themselves, especially those of the Judeo-christian God and Jesus Christ, finding them limiting in explaining their beliefs.
So I really wonder who has used them in depicting UU beliefs in Wikipedia; I think this should be considered worth contacting one of our two American seminaries like the Starr-King seminary in CA —This unsigned comment is by 50.237.207.214 (talk • contribs) .
- With the single exception of the magnificent image of the widely used Dove of the Holy Spirit by the artist and architect Gian Lorenzo Bernini, all the iconography currently used on this page actually comes from Unitarian Universalist churches. ~ ♞☤☮♌Kalki·†·⚓⊙☳☶⚡ 00:38, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
