The Walking Dead Game is a point and click choice game following the main character Clementine through her woes and worrys of the post-apocalyptic world.

Episode One: A New Day

(First lines of the series. A Police Officer is taking Lee Everett to Prison)

Police Officer: Well, I reckon you didn’t do it, then.

Lee Everett: You know what they say about reckoning.

Police Officer: Ha, I don’t, but I reckon it’s a lot like assumin’.

Lee: Yeah, something like that.

Police Officer: Y’know, I’ve driven a buncha’ fellas down to this prison. Lord knows how many. Usually is ‘bout now I get the “I didn’t do it.”

Lee: Every time?

Police Officer: EVERY time.

(The dispatch on the police car radio is heard)

Dispatch on Radio: We’ve got what looks like a 10-91E near Peachtree Exit of 285. All cars asked to keep on the lookout for 91V in the area.

Police Officer: (To Lee) I followed your case a little bit, you being a Macon boy and all.

Lee: You’ve got an opinion then?

Police Officer: Wouldn’t say that. I go for that innocent ‘til proven guilty thing. (Another police car speeds up on the other side of the highway towards Atlanta) Even considering who they say you killed.

Dispatch on Radio: Be advised of medieval personnel on route to Hartsfield, various 10’s and 20’s coming in.

Police Officer:' (To Lee) I got a nephew up at UGA, you teach there long?

Lee: Going on my sixth year.

Police Officer: You meet your wife in Athens? (Lee does not respond) You wanna know how I see it?

(More police cars and a S.W.A.T truck speed up on the other side of the highway towards Atlanta)

Lee: Not really.

Police Officer: Well too bad, it’s my car. You might have the right to remain silent, but it don’t mean I gotta be. (the police officer looks at Lee through his front car view mirror, Lee looks back at him in annoyance) Regardless, could be you just married the wrong woman.

(Lee is about to tell him something, but then sighs in embarrassment, and remains silent)

Dispatch on Radio: Riot in progress. All officers are available for incoming 217’s. Rolling calls and dispatches to all locations.

(A police helicopter flies by, and several other police vehicles follow it towards Atlanta)

Lee: (To the police officer, about his shotgun and his equipment) Any of that seem important to you?

Police Officer: All of it, but that box never shuts up. Sit in this seat and pay too much attention and you’ll drive yourself crazy. (changes the subject) I’m driving this man once, h-he was the worst one. He wouldn’t stop going on about how he didn’t do it. He was an older fella. Big, soft eyes behind a pair of smart folk glasses, and he’s just wailing back there, says it wasn’t him. Crying and snotting all over, right where you’re sitting. (the dispatch on the police car radio says something, but the police officer turns it off) Then before long he starts kicking the back of the seat, li-like a fussy baby on an airplane. And I tell him he’s gotta stop, and that that’s government property, and I’ll be forced to zap him otherwise. So he stops, and having exhausted all his options, he starts crying out for his mama. “Mama, it’s all a big mistake! It wasn’t me!”

Lee: Maybe he was innocent.

Police Officer: Innocent? They caught the fucker red-handed! Stabbin’ his wife, cutting her up as the boys came through the door! He sits in my car screaming bloody murder that it wasn’t him! I think he actually believed it himself. It goes to show, people will up and go mad when they believe their life is over. Oh, I got another good one for ya. This one’s a little bit less depressing and a bit more hilarious if I do say so. This other-

(As the police officer continues talking, Lee sees a “person” walking in the middle of the highway)

Lee: Oh shit!

(The police car crashes into the “person,” loses control, crashes outside of the highway, and crashes and tumbles into the forest)

"I'm Scared Lee."

"What can I tell you to make it better?"

"That you won't leave me"

"I don't know much about you folks, but you keep goin' on like this, and that girl ain't gonna make it. You've got to think of her as a living person. That's it. You ain't little. You ain't a girl, you ain't a boy. You ain't strong... or smart. You're alive."

"Sorry, kid, but, no. I have a job for you. I need you to get back to your room, I need you to sleep in your bed, and have friends and grow tall. Taller than I ever was, I hope. I need you to live, AJ. For me. That's your job now."
