The quotes you have recently been removing are legitimate quotes of Mahatma Gandhi expressing his genuine opinions at the time of their publication. Some of them have been contested before, and consensus has approved their retention. Whatever one might feel about the wisdom of his sentiments or strategies, they are legitimate quotes which have been properly sourced. It is NOT appropriate to remove them merely because they might not conform with what one believes to be credible strategies or appropriate sentiments.

I am currently checking various sources to extend them for context, for whoever added some of them added trimmed versions which do not make Gandhi's full rationale plain. In this case, I cannot fully agree with sentiments and strategies of Gandhi, but I can admire his honesty and sincerity in presenting them, and cannot assent to the censorship of them because they might not be considered politically correct sentiments by those who fail to understand Gandhi's form principled opposition to all forms of hatred or indifferrence to the spiritual and moral fates of human beings, or what he sincerely considered to be needless or detrimental violence. ~ Kalki (talk · contributions) 00:11, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
