I am not a "Indef-blocked sockpuppeter"[edit]
Hi David Eppstein, I do not believe we have ever communicated before, but I have wanted to for sometime. I have just discovered you are a member of this wmf-community, which allows me to communicate with you, something I have not been able to do on enwp and on META.
You said that I am an "Indef-blocked sockpuppeter", but I have no idea why. You have repeated this falsehood in several enwp discussions, I think, the latest of which I have discovered is here: w:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/QuantitativeGeometry/Archive#Suspected_sockpuppets.
As an "employee of a public university" who believes "that public outreach is part of" his "job description", I thought you should probably check facts before repeating falsehoods. I hope I am the only user you have maligned with such thoughtless accusations.
