Forgotten Realms
[edit]If these R. A. Salvatore books are part of the setting of the Forgotten Realms game, why isn't their any mention of Salvatore in the Wikipedia article? (This is my not-so-subtle way of suggesting that "someone" correct what appears to be a glaring omission in that article. ☺) ~ Jeff Q (talk) 06:12, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
- Jeff, as an avid Salvatore fan, I assure you these are part of the FR setting, at least in that they're official TSR books set in that setting, and sell widely. However, I agree the page should probably be moved to an R.A. Salvatore page, and then I could contribute from RAS's excellent Tarzan book I'm reading :) ~ MosheZadka (Talk) 06:20, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for welcome greetings!
[edit]I mean that! --pavlosh 19:47, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
Star Wars
[edit]You seem to have confused two different scenes from two different Episodes. In Episode V, just before Han is lowered to the carbon-freezing chamber, Leia says: "I love you"; and Han replies: "I know". In Episode VI, in front of the Endor bunker, after Leia gets shot, the group is surrounded by Stormtroopers, and when Leia shows her gun to Han, he says: "I love you, and she answers: "I know". The first response was improvised, while the second one just followed the improvised one. Copperchair 04:31, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks. You're right; I did confuse them. —Jeremy Hanson 23:08, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
Liberalism
[edit]I don't agree with the quote either, but Nietzsche is a guilty pleasure. I'm on en.wikipedia at w:User:Thames.
I'm curious -- what is this page? I was prepared to mark it as VFD, or even to speedy delete it, but with your past contirbutions, I thought maybe you had something in mind here and I would give it the benefit of the doubt. Do you? Or is this just a mistake? UDScott 13:53, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Your user image
[edit]I'm afraid that your user image, Image:Jarlaxle2.JPG, has been nominated for deletion. You may not know this, but last year, to avoid growing Wikimedia concerns about policing fair use images, we adopted a practice of deleting non-free-use images, disabling our upload feature, and sending editors to Wikimedia Commons to upload images, where they have strict free-use requirements. Therefore, this image will almost certainly be deleted in a week. You might want to see if you can upload a free-use image on Commons to take its place. Thank you for your attention. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 00:52, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called JarlaxleArtemis. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name JarlaxleArtemis~enwikiquote that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
