Copyrighted image tagged as "fair use", but only use is to decorate a user page. See also discussion of this image at Wikiquote:Village pump archive 5#User:JarlaxleArtemis blocking. —Psychonaut 23:50, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete. Since our discussion (cited above) about avoiding the Wikimedia-wide block against JarlaxleArtemis, we have adopted a practice of avoiding image copyright issues by disabling our upload function, deleting non-free-use images from Wikiquote, and referring uploaders to Wikimedia Commons (which has a strict GFDL or Creative Commons license requirement — no "fair use"). We need not worry about whether one can interpret "fair use" for a user image instead of an article illustration; our own free-use-only practice is justification enough to delete this. I have posted a note to Jarlaxle to let him know ~ Jeff Q (talk) 00:52, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete "I love this image" is not within the scope of fair use in my understanding. --Aphaia 14:13, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per above. Cbrown1023
- Delete if it's not being used fairly - and I can't imagine a fair use for it.--Poetlister 23:06, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Fair use does not extend to user pages; it is the context of the use which is critical, and here it is not being used under any of the fair use criteria. Fys. “Ta fys aym”. 16:00, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
