- Oh, and your note reminds me foreign language shouldn't be capitalized in Italian ... --Aphaia 22:57, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Transwiki to Italian Wikiquote or merge to it:Proverbi albanesi, depending on who actually plans to do it and how comfortable they are with both Italian and cross-project merges. If we decide to do this, I will make a point to do a merge on 23 April as a demonstration case of a simplified transwiki with full GFDL crediting, and hope that the it:Wikiquotians will be more amused than annoyed with my broken Italian. I consider this situation important — see User talk:LrdChaos/Closing a deletion discussion#Taking action on articles for why — so I've scheduled the transwiki in my organizer so I won't let it slip like I've done so many other things. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 00:52, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. If we're going to transwiki these quotes, we're assuming the likelihood that they were legitimate contributions and not hoaxes. If none of us know Albanian, we could, for all we know, be sending nonsensical or even insulting remarks. - InvisibleSun 02:19, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Well yes, but that is assumed when a page is transwikied. If another language user transwikied a page here that contained bad words or insults, I would just delete it and think no more of it. However, that is just me... Cbrown1023 talk 02:34, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I hadn't thought of InvisibleSun's good point. I've tried to find even a rudimentary means to translate Albanian before, with no success, so I wouldn't even trust the Italian translations. I don't know it:WQ's feelings about unsourced proverbs, so a more formal transwiki might be the best idea if we go for that. On the other hand, it might just be easier to delete this and post a note to the editor that they should put Italian-translated Albanian proverbs on it:WQ. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 05:49, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I invited our Italian friends to this discussion. --Aphaia 07:01, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete as no evidence of notability, veracity or anything else for that matter, and I don't think our Italian friends will be terribly grateful for the effort of transwiki. Tyrenius 02:48, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete (unless of course someone knowledgeable know both Albanian and English, and translates them into English - but anyway the Italian translation is useless here. .mau. from it:wikiq 07:15, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
