Wikiquote talk:WikiProject Weekly Cleanup
Add topicProverb pages
[edit]Though they are steadily becoming better, the proverb pages are in need of an overall clean up. The situation is not as urgent as with the clean up listed pages though. --Spannerjam (talk) 23:42, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Well, we can see tomorrow. It's night in the neck of the woods I live in. So I'll respond later tomorrow. But a brief response, I would suggest still letting them open for cleanup. --~~Goldenburg111 23:45, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Here's tomorrow. I suggest, even though you have a diminutive amount of activity here, would sign up and as much time here on Wikiquote, work on those proverb pages that need cleanup. --~~Goldenburg111 22:41, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Done. --Spannerjam (talk) 10:38, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Membership
[edit]The current project page invites users to add "Your Username". An IP address is not a Wikiquote username, and both Goldenburg111 and I have removed IP addresses from the list. I remarked "membership is for registered accounts" in an edit summary, but Spannerjam replied "I see no rule stating this as required" when restoring an IP to the list.
I encourage participants in this project to make it (more) explicit that registering as a member of the wikiproject is open to all registered Wikiquote accounts in good standing. I strongly encourage this wikiproject not to enroll any range-blocked vandal/sockpuppet IP addresses such as have been listed here, nor to give any aid and comfort to enemies of the wiki. ~ Ningauble (talk) 16:48, 2 February 2014 (UTC)
