Song lyrics
[edit]Rage Against the Machine (1992)
[edit]- Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses.
- Sometimes sung as "Some of those that burn crosses are the same that hold office."
- Killing in the Name.
- Fools follow rules when the set commands you.
- Something must be done,
about vengeance, a badge and a gun.
So rip the mic rip the state rip the system,
I was born to rage against them.
- Shackle your mind when you bend on the cross,
When ignorance reigns life is lost.- Township Rebellion.
- If ignorance is bliss, then knock the smile off my face.
- "Settle for nothing".
- Anger is a gift.
- "Freedom" - "borrowed from the african american freedom fighter "Malcolm X".
Evil Empire (1996)
[edit]- Is all the world jails and churches?
The Battle of Los Angeles (1999)
[edit]- They made you think that, what you need is what they sellin',
Made you think that buying is rebelling.
