Quotes[edit]

  • He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
    • Colossians 1:15 NKJV
  • For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
    • Colossians 1:16 NKJV
    • When you were buried with [Christ] in baptism, you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.
      • Colossians 2:12 NRSV
    • So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
      • Colossians 3:1-3 NRSV
    • You have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator.
      • Colossians 3:9-10 NRSV
    • As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.
      • Colossians 3:12 NRSV
