Sam Raimi films

• Norman? Norman! Oh, my God. Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Norman!
  • Who: Mendel Stromm
  • Source: Spider-Man
  • Note: Said to Norman Osborn, who has tested an unstable performance-enhancing serum on himself. In the process, Osborn develops the alternate personality of the Green Goblin, who then kills Stromm via defenestration.

  • Who: Ben Parker
  • Source: Spider-Man
  • Note: Said to his nephew Peter Parker/Spider-Man before dying of a gunshot wound.

• See ya.
  • Who: Dennis Carradine
  • Source: Spider-Man
  • Note: Said to Peter as he points his gun at him. Peter disarms him and breaks his hand. Carradine then walks back, tripping over a pipe and falling out a window to his death.

• Must be new this year.

  • Note: Said to Henry Balkan, referring to the Green Goblin's glider. Shortly after, the Green Goblin kills the Oscorp Board of Directors, including Fargas, with a pumpkin bomb.

  • Note: Said after the glider stabs him, ridding him of his Green Goblin personality. He asks Peter not to tell his son Harry about the Green Goblin's actions before succumbing to his wounds. His death is retconned in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

  • Note: Said to her husband Otto, whose fusion experiment had gone awry, leading to his transformation to Doctor Octopus and causing the glass doors to shatter. Rosie is impaled by flying shards.

  • Note: Said as he sacrifices himself to sink his fusion device into the river. His death is retconned in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

• Peter! What are you doing?! NO!!! (Spider-Man: Eddie!!!)

  • Source: Spider-Man 3
  • Note: Said as Spider-Man activates a pumpkin bomb from Harry's glider to destroy the Venom symbiote. As Peter hurls it at the symbiote, Eddie jumps in to save the symbiote and is killed along with it in the explosion, despite Peter's attempt to save him.

  • Note: As Venom is about to kill Spider-Man with Harry's glider, Harry shields Peter and allows himself to be impaled. After Venom is defeated, Harry reconciles with Peter before dying in his and MJ's arms.

  • Note: Said to Spider-Man, before succumbing to his wounds inflicted by the Lizard.

• Roosevelt.

  • Note: Reminds her husband Richard to upload his video confession to his lab in the Roosevelt Train Station, shortly before succumbing to a gunshot wound by an assassin sent after the couple.

  • Note: Said to Spider-Man as he is fighting the Green Goblin, while hanging on to a web connected to a gear of a clock tower. Moments later, the gears turn, cutting the web and causing her to fall. Although Peter catches her with a web and stops her fall, Gwen dies due to whiplash.

• I wonder if you could afford me out there, though. With what I know. (Vulture: "Excuse me?") I'm just saying, maybe your wife would like to know where you really get your money from? (Vulture: "You know what?") What? (Vulture: "You're right. I can't afford that.")
  • Who: Jackson Brice
  • Source: Spider-Man: Homecoming
  • Note: He and Herman Schultz were selling Chitauri technology to gangster Aaron Davis when Spider-Man disrupts the transaction. After Iron Man saves Spider-Man from Vulture, Brice is fired for jeopardizing the mission. He then says these last words before being accidentally killed when Vulture mistakes a laser gun with an anti-gravity gun.

• You'll see, Peter. People... they need to believe. And nowadays... they'll believe anything.

  • Note: Said before apparently dying from his lethal wounds, sustained when he was caught in the crossfire of his attack drones. Though E.D.I.T.H. clarifies that there are no active illusions at play for Peter, Mysterio's fate, due to being a master of trickery and illusion, and after doctored footage exposing Spider-Man's identity to the world is released, is unknown.

  • After Spider-Man chooses the Red Suit path, Venom punches Spider-Man off the Helicarrier and sacrifices his life to destroy the multi-headed Venom monster by moving straight into one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier's engines.

• No! Phin, don't look!
  • Who: Rick Mason
  • Source: Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • Note: As Miles discovers that his friend Phin is the Tinkerer, leader of the Underground, he proceeds to look into Phin's video files from six months ago. After further investigation, Miles learns that Phin wants to avenge the death of her brother Rick, who was poisoned while working on Nuform and killed by Simon Krieger after attempting to sabotage the project.

• [Miles: I can't...!] It's okay. [Miles: I can't...] Just let go. Let go...
  • Who: Phin Mason / Tinkerer
  • Source: Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • Note: After Miles confronts Phin at Roxxon Plaza and tells her that the Nuform reactor will vaporize all of Harlem, a revenge-driven Phin refuses to believe him. Unable to reason with her, Miles fights Phin before attempting to absorb the Nuform's energy to negate the blast. However, there is too much energy and Miles is unable to contain it. Phin, having realized the damage her actions caused, carries Miles and launches up with him to a safe distance above Harlem so that he can release the energy before it could kill him, sacrificing herself.

  • Note: Kraven was suffering from a terminal disease, and sought a worthy opponent who could kill him in combat. He eventually finds one in Venom, who defeats him in combat. Kraven says these words before Venom bites Kraven's head off, killing him.
