Kitchen Nightmares U.S.A[edit]

I had set up an uncensored seperate page for the uncensored version that airs in the UK with a British narrator. UDScott decided to redirect that page to the censored version found on FOX. For Hell's Kitchen, there are two different pages for that, censored and uncensored. Nickrj

OK, I wasn't aware that this was the case - after looking at the page on Wikipedia for Kitchen Nightmares, it only stated that "...in the UK, it is broadcast under the name Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares USA on Channel 4." with no mention that it was different in any way. I'm still not sure that a separate page is needed, but if so, the distinction should be made and probably each page should refer to the other. The other way to do it would be to have a section on the Kitchen Nightmares page in which these uncensored quotes are shown. But in the end, aren't the quotes the same, only with bleeps? I'd almost rather just show the uncensored text on the Kitchen Nightmares page - and include a note in the intro about the two versions. What do you think? ~ UDScott 15:30, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OK. Maybe we can do the same with Hell's Kitchen. Nickrj
Yes, I would also recommend it for that show as well - I feel that these would best be shown on one page, uncensored, with a note in the intro about the two versions. You could leave the redirects so that people familiar with the two versions can find the pages. ~ UDScott 16:23, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Bowlderized or abridged editions do not merit their own pages, except in unusual cases like The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) where the "abridgement" is a distinctly original work. ~ Ningauble 16:25, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
