Add topicLinks in talkheader?
[edit]I am just back from a short excursion and on scanning recent pages I just had an idea that might be useful. I looked at What links here page for MTM, and was slightly surprised at how little as yet links to this, but then thought of adding that link to the talk page for people unfamiliar with many of the optional links available on the wiki. I find such links very useful for tracking down and tracing many relationships and quote pages, and I thought that having such a link placed more prominently on the talk pages, or even on the article pages in some ways might be helpful and convenient. I really haven't given it much thought, but thought I would suggest it here, and perhaps gradually place such links on a few other talk pages as time goes by, and see how useful or helpful others find them. ~ ♞☤☮♌Kalki·†·⚓⊙☳☶⚡ 04:21, 3 May 2013 (UTC) + tweaks
- A search for MTM, see here gave 11 instead of the initial 4 (or 5) links, which are now linked to the page. -- Mdd (talk) 09:42, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for creating those additional links within the project. I had intended to eventually do similar procedures, but had not yet had the time, and probably would not have gotten around to it for another week or so. I eventually intend to do more on this page, but as it is adequately sourced now, I might not attend to it much for at least another week, because of some other pressing matters which are keeping me busy. I have diverse things on my lists of things to do here as well, as well as many such casual things as arise and I permit to distract me from various other things from time to time. ~ ♞☤☮♌Kalki·†·⚓⊙☳☶⚡ 13:35, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- There is a "What links here" link on the navigation pane, listed first under Toolbox. I don't think it needs to be added to the {{talkheader}} template, the purpose of which is to provide guidance for the use of discussion pages. ~ Ningauble (talk) 15:57, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
